Yes. If you are a non-Kuwaiti (e.g. an expat residing in Kuwait through a residency permit) and depart to reside outside of Kuwait permanently, you can maintain your SmartWealth account if it was opened via the SmartWealth app or website.
We understand that you might have restrictive access to your Kuwait bank account. In those situations, to perform deposit and withdrawal activities, you will need to supply us with all requisite documentation proving the change of residency status and that you are the actual beneficiary of the newly supplied banking information.
In scenarios such as these, you can only maintain your existing SmartWealth account(s). You will have the ability to deposit and withdraw funds to and from all existing SmartWealth account(s).
