To change the IBAN used for your SmartWealth account, you must be able to provide proof of ownership for that bank account.
NBK Clients:
1. Login to NBK Online Banking via the website only (on your computer or mobile browser).
2. Click on "Accounts" then select "Download statement".
3. Select the account number you want to add to your SmartWealth account.
4. Click on "View Statement".
5. Scroll to the bottom of the statement, ensure "PDF" is selected from the dropdown menu, and click "Download".
Alternatively, you can visit your nearest NBK Branch to request an account statement or account ownership confirmation letter.
Non-NBK Clients:
Boubyan Bank:
1. Login to your mobile banking application.
2. Select the account by tapping your account number or balance.
3. Tap on Account Statement or swipe up to show it.
4. Tap the Download icon in the top right corner.
Gulf Bank:
1. Login to your mobile banking application.
2. Select the account by tapping on the account number.
3. Select "Statement" at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap the red menu icon in the bottom right corner.
5. Tap on Download PDF.
All other local banks:
Obtain your official account e-statement via your relevant online banking service or visit your bank branch for assistance.
