Yes, you can request a withdrawal from your SmartWealth account at any time without any penalties incurred.
Please note that in order to keep your account active, you must maintain a minimum of $5,000 (if your account was opened via the SmartWealth app or website) or $500 in your account balance (if your account was opened via the NBK Mobile Banking app).
Requesting a full withdrawal will deactivate your SmartWealth account and no more fees would be charged. To re-activate your account, all you have to do is re-invest the minimum amount above.
If the withdrawal request is made during a trading day it will be processed during the same day. If requested on a day when the markets are closed it will be processed on the next trading day. Transferring the money to your bank account will take up to 7 business days.
Please note that withdrawals will be processed to your bank account that is currently associated with your SmartWealth account. You can learn more about changing your IBAN here.
